Christmas was here!

The weekend before Christmas was fun and busy!

I went and hung out with Rach and my lil babies!

I was making them giggle so much it was hilarious!!

Christmas day was full of fun!

It was however, the first Christmas without my family.. so that was hard.. but I tried to make it as normal as possible..

I woke up early, put the tv to the channel with the fireplace and music, started making the quiche and then went and woke up Brianne and excitedly yelled out, "wake up it's Christmas" (all Home Alone, Lost in New York style) Joseph came over too to join in on the Christmas morning festivities!

We first looked in our stockings that mom had sent for us! (Lots of Pier One stuff, glad she had that job for a little bit!)

Then we opened our presents! A Chia pet from Brianne, pajamas, sweater, a special family cookbook and perfume sent from mom and dad. Then was Josephs gifts, Zumba fitness for the Wii and.... a scrapbook he made of us.. I know!! So adorable!! I cried when I opened it (like a baby!) He had kept it a secret (by throwing me off and telling me it was a cookbook.haha.) and you could tell all the hard work he had put into it. Also, what he wrote in there melted my heart! Sigh.. It was perfect! I got Joseph a robe with his last name on the back.. He loved it!

Then the rest of the day was spent going to Joseph's family's houses and celebrating all day!

We ended the night at his sister Sarah's house. We played games, ate yummy food and hung out altogether. Then Rhett came up to me and wanted to make a gingerbread house... so we did and it was FUN!! He called the frosting "glitter".. that was cute! Here is the finished product..

It was a fabulous day and I had a good time with family and friends!
