the start of it

When I got a call that my fave fabric that I've had my eye on at Hobby Lobby was on clearance I went right down there and got it!!!!!

From there I got to work.. and all of a sudden I was on this crafty kick!

With a lot to unleash the craftiness on..with every wall a blank canvas.

Well I started with the curtains in the dining room... I sewed the damask to the strip of cream and then to the long blue curtain that was too short for the sliding glass doors.

And this is what came of it....

I had some left over fabric and another idea..

PILLOWS!

I cut the material into strips and sewed them all together then put the cream material on the back.

I like it a lot.. to quote my friend Kelsey's first reaction to it..

"It looks like it's from Anthropologie"

Love it!! Cause it literally didn't cost more than $3 to make!!

And... It's going to look really cute on my new couch!!

Yup, bought a couch the other night from my friend Thatcher! We will be moving it in this weekend!

Along with the new couch comes a bunch of fun new projects!!!!!!!
