So, I took the Work Christmas party (more on that later) as a good excuse to go get a pedicure and manicure... as anyone should...

While getting my pedicure a sweet older lady came in and got sat right next to me.. we got to know each other because I became the translator of the nail techs and helped her open three bottles of nail polish to try on her nails... she and her husband were snowbirds from a town just south of Toronto.. down here for the winter.. so of course she had a fun lil Canadian accent!

We were mid conversation when the nail tech asked her if she wanted her nails trimmed or shaped... no joke, she answered

"Oh cut for sure!"

Then she turned to me and finished with "They keep cutting through my darn socks!"

To this I lightly smiled and gagged a lil to myself... then looked down at the ladies doing our nails and they were wide eyed and giggling!!
