After taking a year hiatus from listening to Dashboard Confessional... I listened to a song that was coming out on their new CD and decided I can listen to them again..
So yesterday I bought their new CD.. the Deluxe version.. it has the songs and then the acoustic versions of them! It's pretty amazing! 
Right now my favorite songs are "Belle of the Boulevard", "Until Morning" and "Even Now" Both versions.
Here is a sweet lil story...
About 5 years ago I went to my second DC concert at Mesa Amphitheater. While down in the front, waiting for DC to come on, I met this boy (I say boy cause we were only 16) that came all the way to Mesa from New Mexico for the concert. We got to talking and quickly became friends. When Dashboard came on we talked in between the songs and pretty much just had a really good time. When the concert was over he asked for my e-mail address.. That next week we started e-mailing back and forth huge e-mails about ourselves and discovered how much we had in common. He's been there for me through so much in the past five years. All the boy drama, hard times and the good times too! Of course I've given him advice or comforting words when he needed them too. It's been 5 years of a really good friendship and we only hung out once at a Dashboard concert years ago! We've been talking a lot more lately and agreed that we were supposed to meet each other at the time we did.
