she's married now

This past weekend Rachel Garner lost her last name.. she became Rachel Koustik!!

It was such a lovely time.

We (Matt, Rach and I) arrived in Denver on Friday. we rented a Jeep Commander {That I fell in love with} and went to the courthouse in Denver to get their marriage license and spent the night in Denver. Rach met with the girl that did her hair and the pastor that would marry them.. that was a fun night!

Then Saturday we met up with Michon, Levi and Nora and Kevin Koustik to have lunch..we had a lil adventure on the way there... the freeway was randomly shut down and all the traffic was being detoured off.. this set us back like 40 minutes... so we ate really fast then it was off to Vail!!

That was a fun 2 hour drive!! We ended up being a lil late for the rehearsal but it was all good! The whole time we were there it had been rainy and cloudy.. we were nervous that the wedding would have to be moved inside.. which wouldn't be that bad.. it's just the reason it was Colorado was to have it outside. So we prayed it would be lovely weather outside enough to have the ceremony.

Then we had a family dinner at a pretty restaurant named Up the Creek.. That was fun, I sat next to Randolin, Rachels's mom and across from Matt's dad, Kevin. Needless to say we had a really good time!

Then it was the BIG DAY!!

We woke up, went and got Starbucks and got ready. We drove up to Cordillera. we spent the rest of the day in their suite getting ready, Lauren did Rach's hair and make-up while I steamed the dress... {I could be a professional now..}
It was 4:00, all the make-up and dresses were on and the clouds cleared and the sun started to show.. it was a wedding day miracle!!

The whole experience was fun and beautiful!!
Actual wedding pictures coming soon.. meanwhile they are in Hawaii on their honeymoon!!!

Here are some pics of where we were..
