Remember I said I took a trip?...(warning.. overwhelming amount of pics)

Well I will now post about it...
In between some of the pics will be funny/random stories that happened on the road!
First we left Mesa with nothing but dust in the shadows

And made it to Lori's house in Anaheim that night...

That next morning we went to Polly's and ate a delicious cinnamon roll french toast...

It was AMAZING!!! So amazing it was gone before I could take a photo of it.. trust me!

Then drove on to San Fransisco, making a stop in Hollywood.. dirty, yucky Hollywood..

Hmmm....

Then headed out to San Fran...........

But first we saw the ocean... and had to stop and play!!!
And almost die from getting hit by a train... seriously.. we had to jump off the tracks down a hill.. haha! I can laugh now.. but for a while I was scared to death and my heart would pound when I heard a train..

Whew.. fortunately we didn't.. So onward to San Fran we went..

The next day we spent around San Fran...

This whole story thing is getting boring.. I will just put up pictures and let them tell the crazy story... maybe a lil description..

Being in a car for that long makes you crazy!

it was sunny when Krissa took this pic.. that's why my face is... well, you see.. And I love the color of this rest stop... (Yup, I'm sportin' pigtails...)

Stopped in Yreka and ate some pizza at this cute little place.. this is the back of it.. how funny is that! And no.. that's not my stomach that is bulging.. it's my purse.. haha!

We made it to Eugene and stayed across from University of Oregon in a hotel with a pool... much needed
Some where in this trip I ate this pecan caramel cinnamon roll was...... my mouth is watering just thinking about it.. but I only ate like 1/3 of it..

We had to do some laundry at the hotel.. I wore my track pants and my track jacket over to the laundry room carrying the gym bag with all my clothes.. we joked around and said I was from Ukrania in the Olympics.... clearly we were a little loopy..

Then we were in Beaverton to hang out with The Walters family friends...

She took us up to see some beaches and stuff..

First, stopping at Camp 18.. a restaurant on the side of the freeway

Then to some inside little mall that had a funky hat shop.. we had some fun...I tried my best not to think of how many people have tried on these hats...

Drinking water at Tillamook to get to get rid of a headache

Went to a karaoke party with Kyle... The house was so randomly decorated.. sitting on the piano was this lovely piece of music...

The next day we went on a hike at Multnomah Falls

That guy there in the back is a nice man we met on the hike..Eric... we kept passing each other.. and about three miles in he turned around and started going back.. I stopped him and was like.. where are you going? You can't give up now.. and so he kept going with us to the end.

We had to cross this, flowing rather fast, creek and the stepping stones were wobbly.. Krissa and her mom were laughing at me trying to cross it and Eric watching me.... I didn't know he was right behind me or that they took the picture...

Then I saved us all from this tree falling...

Then later that night...
We couldn't get enough of that Tillamook ice cream..so we went and found a store!!!

Chocolate and peanut butter baby!!

Funny random stories..

~We were trying to take the picture of us eating the ice cream by setting the camera on a coffee maker in the hotel.. but when the timer would run out the camera would make a ringing like a phone.. and I would laugh every time for some reason.. it took a few times to get that picture above.. here's one that I couldn't contain myself..

Somewhere on the road off the I-5 we stopped to try some churros from Jack in the Box..
The girl who was working was so adorable.. she couldn't have been more than sixteen.. Her name was Illy... She was so bubbly and sweet.. and she had to deal with nasty, scary truckers all day. Out of concern for her.. I asked her if she lived around here.. cause all we saw was scary town... Duh she lived around there.. What was I thinking?! I don't care, I think we are friends! Hey Illy from Scarytown!!

There were a lot of stories with the blessed google maps on Krissa's phone!
I loved that thing! It would show a blue dot where we were on the map.. so it was my job as passenger to make sure the blue dot stayed on the path...
~ Like when trying to find a Chinese food place that was not where the "end" dot was...
~ Or the Mexican food restaurant in a shady town... {chills}
~ Or just getting out of a hotel parking lot to try and get to Ventura Blvd..
Best of all it helped us find a hotel with a swimming pool and jacuzzi...Thank you Google maps app!!
Good times... Sure some of them were frustrating at the time.. but now looking back, quite funny..
