grateful to be alive and not stolen by three guys in a jetta

Last night I was headed home..driving my route back from Gilbert... I took one freeway to another and then got off at my usual exit... I noticed a car had been going the same way I did.. what a coincidence...
I THINK NOT!!!
Dun dun dun!!!!!!!!
When I was coming up to my street I had this feeling to keep driving and not go home.. At this point I was freaking out... they were really close to my car and I had to speed up... My adrenaline was pumping and I couldn't think straight.. a ton of thoughts were going through my mind..

I could be kidnapped,
or like shot..
how would I get out of this situation..
I want a pb&j samich..
I wanna be in bed
where can I drive and be safe and not have anyone get hurt..

In my effort to try and lose them, I drove through neighborhoods, got on and off the freeway three times and even ran a couple red lights..

I pulled up next to a cop at a stop light and tried to get him to help me.. but he just looked away.. I then resorted to trying to get pulled over.. still didn't work...
Riddle me this:
Why is it that when you want to be pulled over you can't.. but you are when you don't want to be

Mr. X, who could think straight, called me and told me to call 911..

I called and was told to go to a nearby QT where there were cops..

I pulled in and parked.. the car, freaky follower, still taggin along.. I could hardly breathe and the cop asked if I was okay and then escorted me home safely while the other cop stayed to talk with the boys in the Jetta..

I could think of better ways to spend 30 minutes on Cinco de Mayo....

There is a reason they have these signs at QT..even though they do look a lil frightening... haha!
