People I am thankful for

Usually I think of things everyday that I am thankful for so I can cheer myself up and remember how blessed I am. Today I was on my way to work and I was thinking of 5 things I was thankful for and then it became a list of people I am thankful for.. I am not talking about the obvious family and friend list.. of whom I am all thankful for! I am talking about the people that we meet or that do things for us that don't have to or do things that are kind without expecting anything in return. So here is the list I came up with...

1) I am thankful for Donny at Discount Tire that checked my tires for me and made sure I was safe.

2) I am thankful for Tiffany at my orthodontist office that makes sure I am comfortable while I get my braces tightened. She talks to me and takes my mind off of the insane pain in my mouth.

3) I am thankful for the people on the freeway that slow down so you can get over into their lane.

4) I am thankful for the Security lady at my work that always says hi to me when I am coming into the office for another long day.

5) I am thankful for the checkout lady at Bashas that remembers me every time and asks how I am doing.

I have a ton more but the post would go on forever.. Just know that I love people that give random acts of service and are great examples to me to strive and do better in my life.
